Before I was a professional designer, I was an editor, figuring out how to tell a whole year of campus life in 200 pages. At Southern Memories, I directed photo shoots, edited photography, built layouts, helped plan events, and prepped the publication for print, all while keeping up with a full course load. It taught me how to lead collaboratively, how to make decisions under a deadline, and how to hold a visual story together from the first sketch to the final file.
