Not Your Normal Denim (NYND) focuses on making sustainable clothing from upcycled denim and placing importance on second-hand shopping.

NYND was created by Niani Phillips, an up-and-coming fashion designer. She wanted a logo for people to recognize her brand.

Grits with Jesus

Grits with Jesus is a podcast inspired by the camp song “I’m Gonna Sit at the Welcome Table One of These Days,” inviting listeners to imagine sharing a meal with Jesus by naming a food item they would enjoy together.

Paris Pringle, the creator and host, started this podcast to provide a safe space for exploring faith without bullying or excessive political focus. The aim is to build a supportive community.

The podcast encourages open conversations about religious experiences and the teachings of Jesus, allowing Christians to discuss intimate and controversial topics. It seeks to foster spiritual connections and joyful experiences, filling a gap for those seeking a welcoming environment similar to a Bible study group.

Objekts

Looking to exercise my branding and web skills, I ran into Taylor Amy's creative design brief. The brief centered around Sammy and her homeware brand Objekt. Reading the brand story, I focused on creating a look that expressed 'bright,' 'screamed personality,' and 'functional.' Especially scream.

Sow and Grow

Sow and Grow is a bilingual counseling service that partners with immigration lawyers to assist migrants with visa evaluations, serving both Spanish (1st and 2nd generation) and English speakers. They strive to make clients feel safe and optimistic while fostering a community that sees them as respectful and trustworthy.

The leaning leaves symbolize shelter and the supportive relationship between the therapist and the community. The lines beneath the leaves represent the effort involved in planting, depicting both the toil of the earth and the water necessary for growth.

The surrounding circle symbolizes the sun, evoking a sense of serenity.
